Welcome to my practice! I'm James Saxton, a licensed therapist based in Texas with a for helping individuals navigate their challenges. Holding a LCSW and LCDC license, along with certifications in trauma and experiential facilitation, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my approach. With degrees in Addiction Counseling and Social Work, I have dedicated my career to supporting those on their journey to healing and recovery since 2017. I am expanding my practice to working with a variety of other conditions including mood disorders, stress related disorders, and grief/loss.

I am a native Texan who has lived in a variety of cities throughout Texas. In my years of life and experience, I have been formed by a multitide of experiences including trauma, loss, addiction, healing, reconstruction, connection, and freedom. I have come to appreciate and lean into mythopoetic work, mindfulness/meditation, and experential work in my own life. I enjoy baseball, poetry, learning, and traveling. I am presently learning about the enneagram and its value in self-development.
